Responsibilities
Tasks
• Plan, organize, direct, and control the daily operations of the franchise central kitchen facility that supports multiple restaurant locations.
• Supervise kitchen staff responsible for preparing franchise-approved sauces, marinades, and food products to ensure consistency across all outlets.
• Ensure all food preparation processes follow corporate franchise standards, recipes, portion control, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate training programs for cooks and kitchen employees from different franchise restaurants on standardized procedures, food handling practices, and product specifications.
• Monitor staff performance and provide operational guidance to maintain uniform food quality across all franchise locations.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and controlling food costs and waste.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the central kitchen environment.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks on finished products before distribution to franchise restaurants.
• Prepare staff work schedules, manage workflow, and ensure efficient production timelines to meet restaurant supply demands.
• Maintain records of production output, training activities, inventory usage, and operational reports for franchise management.
• Liaise with franchise owners, restaurant managers, and corporate representatives to ensure smooth support services and compliance with brand standards.
• Handle hiring support, staff supervision, and ongoing workplace training to ensure operational efficiency.
